The Renowned Musician Encourages Public Help to Get Together for Palestine Song to UK Holiday Chart Peak.

A campaign is aiming to launch a Palestinian lullaby to the Christmas number one spot. The campaign seeks to deliver assistance to Gaza's residents while also showcasing Palestinian cultural expression.

A Possibility for Solidarity and an "Chart Upset"

Composer and producer Brian Eno, who contributes to the track, stated that the single 'Lullaby' represents a moment to show solidarity with Palestinians over the Christmas period. He remarked the potential for an unexpected chart success.

“It would be incredible if that occurred, yes,” he commented. “I won't be completely disappointed if it fails to, Christmas singles are a category of their own.”

Powerful Theme of Self-Determination

Palestinian singer Nai Barghouti, who sings on the adaptation of a cultural piece called Yamma Mwel El Hawa, explained the track's resilient spirit.

“It occupies a deeply meaningful spot for countless listeners,” Barghouti explained. “It’s basically saying that I would prefer a dignified death than spend my life without freedom. This is the primary message of the song; we desire to exist a dignified life that we merit as a people.”

Production History and Featured Artists

The single was laid down after a major charity concert held in late summer. Originally intended to be done as a live recording, the performance was omitted from the lengthy event due to scheduling overruns.

The impressive roster of artists appearing on Lullaby includes a selection of prominent voices from the music world. All participated in the earlier concert, which successfully generated a significant sum for humanitarian aid.

Production and Release

Lullaby was produced by a group of music creators. The track features a mix of the traditional Arabic lyrics with freshly written English words.

The group managing the project have stated that their goal is to raise as much as possible for a dedicated fund. These donations will be channeled to projects in Palestine through an established charity.

“There is no a rigid aim,” a figure explained. “We aim for as much as possible. Obviously, the more the merrier. All proceeds are directed out to the people of Gaza.”

The context in the region was noted for its extreme devastation, with a huge proportion of property said to be destroyed or damaged.

“Against that backdrop, a handful of millions doesn’t make that much difference. But I think what does make a difference is above all making this cause better known and demonstrating that another narrative exists.”

The track is set to be released at the end of the week. Additionally, a complete film of the solidarity show will be made accessible to view on a popular streaming site from later in the month.
